Essentials: waterproofs and walking boots/wellies, slippers, torch, midge cream and sun cream, money (there's no cash machine on Eigg although you can withdraw money from the Post Office).
It is set in a grassy field overlooking an ever-changing vista of sea and mountains. Well-equipped and tastefully furnished, the bothan is a short walk from the pier, shop and ceilidh hall. Brave an invigorating swim in the sea, walk the beautiful hills or simply sit and soak up the tranquility.
